001. All people who I write with need to be over the age of 18, preferred over the age of 21. As I am in my thirties, writing with people underage, especially with the potential of chemistry between muses, is not something I am willing to do for my own safety. There are too many risks, and I also am just kinda squicked by the idea of writing with someone so much younger.002. I reserve the right to be semi-selective with partners. Hey, I'm Aeryn. I have been writing for well over 15 years, and am coming back to tumblr at the invitation of one of my partners to give this a shot again. I will only write with people over 21 years of age, but this largely has to do with the fact that I am in my early thirties and writing with anyone younger can make me feel a bit ill-at-ease and weird, especially given the content and such things that can often be covered in my own writing. Rhys has always had a mind made for learning. He goes a mile a minute, wondering about what and where things would come from. He loves puzzles and questions, and, believe me, he asks a lot of them. Rhys isn't the sort to like secrets due to this, and will often try to seek out what is behind it. He's also one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet. He smiles warmly, and offers open insight to anyone who so much as tries to come his way. He likes people, and loves being around them, once you get past the initial anxiety.He likes to help as well, intent on making sure that others are doing well, even if it means a bit of a detriment for him. He likes to think that it's normal, that others might do the same for him, even if that's not necessarily true. He also loves to read. Any kind of record, or note made about the history of the world or Magic, he will devour them with an intensity that some might find odd. He loves to study, knowing that the more he devotes himself to knowledge, the more chance he has to find himself a place in case something happens. Like what, he has no idea, but he's content to sit on the floor of his mother's library and pour over records for hours on end.Not all is soft and sweet with the boy. Like his sister, he has a bit of a temper that can be brought about rather easily if someone is daring enough to push him beyond his normal bounds. He does not get physically violent, but Rhys is well worded enough that he can come up with enough barbed insults and snaps at someone's character if he needs to. It's a rather short fuse, and one that he has to constantly battle against. He may be kind, and gentle with people, but getting him to open up is difficult, mostly because it is hard to get him to speak up.Rhys is shy, often worried that his thoughts and ideas will not be well received by others. He can not quite bring himself to speak up or interject with others, due to the fact that they seem to already have bonds formed, and he...well. He often feels like the odd one out. The shyness can often lead to anxiety, the boy a bit flighty and fidgety if he has to attempt to be social with other people. He has had a panic attack or two when he gets bombarded, but so far, it seems to reserve itself to anxious tapping at his leg.Rhys has been raised almost solely by their mother, Raine Moreaux-Delacroix. He was trained the way she was, how to tend and understand the magical library that the family manages so that it was ready to pass on to the next generation. Nowadays, he manages a branch almost entirely on his own, while Raine travels around the country to check on the others. He acts as a balancing force for his twin sister, doing his best to keep her in line and be the voice in her ear to help her with spells and other information while Hunting.

In the dead of night, a terrible storm, he packed up his guitar and some clothes and ran away from home. It wasn't hard to hitchhike from his part of Pennsylvania to New York City. Somehow the people he met along the way were kind. As though his luck just held. Once in the big city, he took up a bed at a hostel, and busks to earn money for his place and his food. He is constantly on the move to avoid being found, but when all you see is the good in the world around you? It seems to bend to your whim...at least to Gabriel's.

Lilith, the First Woman, Wife of Adam, Bride of Lucifer...though she'll tell you that part isn't quite true. She followed Lucifer, after the Fall of the Morning Star. She soothed his wounds and was there for him through all the trauma of the early days of Hell. When at last she was corrupted by the landscape in which she came to know as home...it was far too late for her. Not a Demon in truth, but no longer a mortal either, she wandered Hell's desolate landscape alone. Mother of Demons is not an inaccurate title. Second youngest of the Endless is Hope, sweet and enthusiastic. Most often this girl can be found with Dream or Desire, or perhaps in her own domain, the Golden Gardens. She tends to keep herself apart for the most part, ever busy nurturing the seeds of her presence in people as she can. The young woman is older than only Delirium, and often treats the other like her little sister. It is difficult to see the alternative to Hope, as she is a stubborn creature and rarely can be shaken deeply enough to become something darker still.The other side of Hope is Delusion, and only if Hope herself is in a place near disappearance does Delusion come to bear. Hope the Lioness, the warrior, is more likely to exist before that side of her takes hold. Delusion is nebulous, rarely fully in a physical form. Death is the second eldest of the Endless. Death is an incomprehensibly powerful entity having been shown to be virtually omniscient and able to intimidate the Furies, who show no fear of the other Endless, simply by raising her voice in The Kindly Ones. The witch Thessaly mentions that Death is the only one of the Endless who is bound by no rules, supported in Dream's portion of Endless Nights in which she briefly makes an appearance at a conference designed to set functions for entities and leaves before it begins. In addition, it is mentioned in Brief Lives that she is the only one of the Endless who may survive the end of this incarnation of the universe. Death's realm - called "The Sunless Lands" - is not portrayed in detail in the series, except for a brief scene in her "house" in the Sandman Special, Song of Orpheus, and later in The Books of Magic series. Ecs is a mystery, even to their other siblings. Ever amorphous and rather prone to flitting from one thing to the next, this Endless is rather hard to pin down on the BEST of days. They enjoy teasing their siblings, spending time with Desire, riling them up if they can. If they stumble upon someone who is in dire need of their particular self? The father of the twins is a man who was forged in flames. His own father, Rafael, was far more exacting than he himself would become. He treated Roman like a soldier from age 3, expecting him to be perfect in word and deed. Teaching him to lie, to charm, to HUNT. If you asked Rafael, who is still alive, he will tell you that it is necessary to prepare the family for what will come. They are the barriers, and the contracted peace between Supernatural beings and the mundane world in Chicago.This training was passed down to Roman's daughter. He tried to train his son this way too, but Raine needed someone to take over her library, and Roman wasn't going to risk losing such a resource when Rhys seemed far gentler a child than Rune. Before the Delacroix family showed up in her life, Raine was a Moreaux. Their family had been managing a large branch of magical bookshops/libraries for all communities of people for many centuries. Raine had been trained to take over the Chicago branch from her great-uncle, and loved her store dearly. You can tell the care that is put in to each tome, just by how she interacts with every single page. When Roman swept her off her feet, for indeed he did, there was blowback from her own family who didn't want their own stores seen as having ties favoring Hunters over the many groups they served. Still, Raine Moreaux married Roman Delacroix, and soon after their marriage, they had the twins.Rhys takes more after her, and she's so proud of him. Unlike Rune, who began her training to be a Hunter at age 3, Raine spared her gentler son that life. While she let him be taught self defense, Rhys was brought up to be her heir, taught the ins and outs of her shop, and a broader acceptance of the magical community that his sister lacks.

Rune is one of those people that has developed an inner circle after many years of not knowing who she could trust. Once you have made it past many layers of defenses, you will find a woman who will never let you down. The blonde is loyal to a fault, and once you've established trust, she will back you up through thick and thin. She doesn't waver, and in her mind, the people that do, that can be bought or paid off, are not worth their own salt. Loyalty, and an adherence to it, is completely tantamount to Rune. She loathes the idea of someone going against it. If you dare to harm someone she is tied to, you best hope you have protection.Rune is terribly protective of those in her care, fierce and immediate. She will not let them be hurt, sooner more willing to take the damage herself than to let them bear any hurt. This includes emotionally. If she knows someone is uncomfortable or upset, she will often follow them until she manages to find some kind of peace or retribution on their behalf. No one will tease or torment those that Rune holds dear, lest they risk her own particular brand of wrath. Why let them think they can get away with it! It's not ok, after all. At the least ,when she confronts people, there's no doubts as to what she means.The woman is one of the most honest people you'll ever meet. She's never really had the ability to curb her tongue. No matter if it might hurt someone's feelings or not, she will always be straight about what she's thinking about, and tell you right off what her opinion is. Why bother lying, when people do enough of that as it is? She's even frank if she thinks something seems ridiculous or wrong, no matter if it can get her in trouble or not. Should it? To her mind there is nothing more important than to be upfront and honest, politics be damned. If you're not honest, you risk your own integrity.This is what makes it a little hard to hold a grudge, but Rune has a nasty bug biting her on a rather frequent basis. She will make sure that someone that has crossed her, or the people near her, finds themselves paid back in full for whatever ill action befell the important ones. Be it simple pranks, or flat out sucker punching someone in the face, she has absolutely no shame in doing what must be done. Until she's sated this need, she's antsy, needing to stand up for the people that matter. Anything about her and her life is kept close to the belt, though.Rune has a habit of keeping her own life and problems tight to her chest, unwilling to let others shoulder it. Anything about her, Rhys, or her family, you might as well be prying at a locked chest with your bare hands. There's no need to bare herself to everyone, and the thought of doing it sickens her. Long before she started training under Roman, there was some sort of pain in her chest, or that is what she calls it, that told her she wasn't good enough. She is bitter about her lot in life, born the wild child, and always feeling second best to her brother, Rhys. Most people usually get along with him better to her mind, and this can lead her to be sour, and irritable, about her situation. She feels like perhaps she's been shorted, given no chance, and it comes out in her attitude towards others.Rune was raised under Roman's command. She was trained, from the time the twins were three, that anything can be killed, anything can bleed. You just have to know how to kill it, or outlast it. This meant that she had a bit of emotional stunting, as most of her only company was either family? Or other Hunters trained similarly. While Rhys got a lot of praise from their mother, and the woman would try to praise her? Rune shut it out, convinced that the only way to succeed was to be sure no one that she cared about knew it, and that she could protect them at all costs....
